Cape Cod Bay swims
Cape Cod Bay is a bay in the Atlantic Ocean off the northeastern United States. Solo swims have been sanctioned by the Massachusetts Open Water Swimming Association since 2012. The traditional route, 19 miles (30.5 km) from Plymouth, Massachusetts to Provincetown on Cape Cod, was pioneered by Russell Chaffee in 1968.
